Kings III Joins Its BOMA International Cornerstone Partners to Support Volunteers of America

Kings III doubles down on BOMA Cornerstone Partner efforts with an additional donation to Volunteers of America at national conference.

(Salt Lake City, UT – June 25, 2019) Kings III Emergency Communications, a leading provider of emergency phone services focused on reducing building risk and liability, has joined forces with BOMA’s other top supporters to take on a worthy cause directly impacting the commercial real estate industry: combating homelessness.

During its annual Conference & Expo, BOMA International offers extensive educational programming and opportunities for professional development. At this year’s event, Cornerstone Partners donated money to purchase items for toiletry kits. Conference participants were encouraged to take time on the Expo floor to help assemble the kits which were then donated to Volunteers of America.

In addition to the donation for supplies, Kings III with help from their booth visitors and focus group participants also gave a $2,500 cash contribution. The kits and these funds will be used to support the new Geraldine E King Women’s Resource Center. A collaborative effort between Volunteers of America, Road House and Shelter The Homeless, the center will provide emergency shelter to homeless women in and around Salt Lake City. Beyond providing safe emergency shelter, this facility will also provide basic needs such as meals, clothing, hygiene items, a place for female clients to wash clothes and shower, as well as a welcoming environment for service animals.

All funds donated were eligible for a match by the Larry H & Gail Miller Family Foundation. The Miller family has promised to match all contributions to www.home4change.org up to $10 million.
