You might be surprised at the different types of emergency calls that occur on properties just like yours. To follow are some of the actual emergency calls our operators received during the beginning of August 2017.

August 2017:

Pool Phone: Caller stated that he was in an argument with his mother and damaged the roof of her car. Dispatched police.

Elevator Phone: Caller requested police due to someone trying to kill him with a bow and arrow. Dispatched police.

Pool Phone: Caller stated his apartment caught on fire while they were cooking. Dispatched fire rescue.

Pool Phone: Caller stated someone broke into their home and requested police. Dispatched police.

Pool Phone: Caller stated he and his father were swimming and his father started having chest pain. Dispatched EMS.

Help Phone: Caller requested police due to his mother and step father fighting and he wanted to break something or hurt someone. Dispatched police.

Elevator Phone: 3 year old child was trapped on the elevator. Dispatched fire rescue (who dispatched police instead) to assist the child.

Help Phone: Caller stated he was unable to exit the parking garage. Dispatched police.

Pool Phone: Caller stated there was a fire alarm going off in a vacated apartment, and he requested fire rescue check on it. Dispatched fire rescue.

Elevator Phone: Caller was not trapped in the elevator but could not exit the building. Dispatched fire rescue.

Pool Phone: Child stated their father was assaulting them and was approaching with a gun then stopped responding. Dispatched police.

Pool Phone: Caller requested police due to a boy jumping on the fence and trying to move the security cameras into the office. Dispatched police.

Pool Phone: Caller stated there were people fighting and acting suspicious by the phone. Dispatched police.

Pool Phone: Caller requested police due to a male taking her phone and assaulting her. Dispatched police.

Help Phone: Caller stated a man was hit by a truck and requested EMS be dispatched to help him. Dispatched EMS.

Elevator Phone: Elevator entrapment, passenger requested EMS due to being claustrophobic. Dispatched EMS.

Pool Phone: Male stated he saw kids tied up in a window and they were saying someone was trying to hurt their mom.Dispatched police.

Pool Phone: Caller stated there were trespassers at the pool with alcohol and glass in the pool. Dispatched police.

Pool Phone: Caller stated they were using the gas grill and the flame kept getting bigger. They closed the lid but the fire would not go out and requested fire rescue be dispatched. Dispatched fire rescue.

Elevator Phone: Caller stated he was having chest pains and a hard time breathing. Dispatched EMS.

Pool Phone: A boy requested we contact management and get help because other kids who didn't live there were at the pool shooting b.b. guns. Dispatched Police.

Help Phone: Caller requested EMS due to falling down the driveway and hurting her ribs and tailbone. Dispatched EMS.

Elevator Phone: Caller stated a disabled female had fallen in the elevator and could not get up. Dispatched EMS.

Pool Phone: Caller requested police due to someone attempting to break his window. Dispatched police.
